The Teen Ambassador Program has come to a close as of July 2024. Read on for an overview of the program.

What is the Teen Ambassador Program?

The Teen Ambassador Program is a completely virtual program that combines the passion for technology with an opportunity for teens to foster community – all while learning about the tech industry from leading subject matter experts currently in the workforce.

The Teen Ambassador Program has come to a close as of July 2024. We’re proud of all that they have accomplished!

Build your local computer science community and your resume. Apply for Canada Learning Code’s teen ambassador program today.

Teen Ambassadors in the program:

  • Met like-minded teens from coast-to-coast-to-coast
  • Developed leadership and communication skills
  • Learned how to use digital tools like HTML & CSS, UX/UI, VR with A-Frame and more!

Teen Ambassadors were tasked with:

  • Participating in our learning experiences and engage with us in our communication channels
  • Organizing their own Computer Science Club
  • Adhering to the Code of Conduct

Top 3 Reasons People Participated

#1: Learn from subject matter experts in the tech industry

Learn valuable insights from subject matter experts working in STEM roles and use that knowledge to inspire others like you to learn computer science!

#2: Learn how to use different digital tools

You’ve tried other extracurricular activities and none of them feel ‘just right.’ Here’s your opportunity to be a part of a community that enjoys learning different types of digital tools (HTML & CSS, UX/UI, VR with A-Frame, etc.) together!

#3: Build your skillset

You want to build your skillset and actually enjoy what you’re doing. You’ll strengthen your leadership and communication skills – all while engaging others to learn something you love.
