Our two dynamic, three-part workshop series are designed to equip individuals from community and nonprofit organizations Hands-on AI skills they can apply immediately.

We know AI can feel intimidating–especially especially for those historically excluded from tech.. That’s why we make learning it approachable, interactive and practical, so participants leave feeling confident and ready to keep growing.

Each workshop series is valued at $2,500 and can be provided at low to no cost to community organizations and nonprofits.

Workshop Series Options:

This three-part series helps individuals understand AI fundamentals, optimize job searches, and boost productivity with AI-powered tools. Whether you’re looking to explore AI basics or enhance your career prospects, these hands-on sessions will give you the knowledge and confidence to continue growing and thriving in an AI-driven world.

 

Workshop #1 – AI Fundamentals: Provide your community with a foundational understanding of AI. Participants will discover the possibilities AI offers and gain invaluable insights into responsible AI practices and concepts like machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, generative AI, and more. By the workshop’s end, attendees will emerge with a fresh perspective on AI’s potential and the knowledge to use it ethically and effectively.

 

Workshop #2 – Hack Your Job Search Using AI: Enable your community to leverage AI tools for a more efficient and effective job search. Participants will learn how to optimize their resumes, craft compelling cover letters, improve outreach strategies, and prepare for interviews using AI.

 

Workshop #3 – AI Powered Productivity Tools: Equip your community with the right AI tools to supercharge their productivity. Participants will build a personalized toolkit to tackle challenges, streamline their workflow, and get more done with less effort. They will learn how to identify pain points, explore powerful AI-driven solutions, and seamlessly integrate them into their daily routine. Help your community use AI to maximize their efficiency.

Designed for mission-driven organizations, this workshop series explores how AI can streamline operations, enhance advocacy, strengthen fundraising, and improve strategic decision-making. Learn how to harness AI for greater efficiency, track public sentiment, and develop data-driven strategies that amplify your impact.

 

Workshop #1 – AI Fundamentals for Non-profits: Demystify AI and discover its real-world applications. Learn key concepts like machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI—plus responsible AI practices. By the end, you’ll understand AI’s potential and how to use it ethically in your nonprofit work.

 

Workshop #2 – Strategy, Advocacy & Impact: Explore how AI-powered tools can help nonprofits plan smarter, collaborate better, and drive change. Learn how to automate tasks, track public sentiment, and develop data-driven strategies to strengthen advocacy and streamline operations.

Learn how to use AI for proposal writing, budgeting, and storytelling—so your organization can save time, optimize resources, and increase its funding success.

Who is a private workshop for?

Some groups we’ve worked with in the past include:

    • A variety of nonprofit organizations, like employment skill-building organizations
    • Community organizations that support women, Racialized people, and newcomers
    • Local libraries and community centres with programs for adults
    • Friendship and Indigenous adult education centres
    • Shelters and housing organizations for adults

We prioritize working with groups who either are or support individuals who from equity-deserving communities who continue to be underrepresented in tech, including cis women, trans women, trans men, non-binary people, as well as Black, Indigenous and Racialized people, newcomers and people from low-income communities.

How does it work?

  1. Reach Out. Email us at communitysuccess@canadalearningcode.ca to let us know which Canada Learning Code’s workshop series you’re interested in.
  2. Plan Your Workshop Series. We’ll work with you to choose the best dates and times for your community or organization.
  3. Spread the Word. We’ll handle registration (if that works for you) and send you a ready-to-use promotional kit.
  4. Start learning! Our workshops run primarily virtually on Zoom. Participants can join individually or watch together as a group.

Canada Learning Code equips adults with the digital skills and career support needed to thrive in today’s evolving workforce by helping people from equity-deserving communities navigate financial and systemic barriers to career growth.
