Policy Review (Virtual)

Please review these documents below.

  • Code of Conduct
Please read this document that holds all CLC volunteers, full-time, part-time, and contract staff accountable to their actions. Violation of this Code of Conduct can include a range of consequences depending on the severity of the infraction.
  • Violence, Abuse, and Harassment Prevention Policy
This policy is designed to make all our spaces (virtual and physical) feel comfortable for every learner, volunteer, or staff member here at CLC.
  • Virtual Security Measures
West Coast team (and many other Code Mobile teams) brought some great discussion items forward for virtual security. This resulted in the document linked above. It includes email templates for when you need to remove learners from a workshop for various reasons. Producers will be the only person who can remove learners from a workshop. If, during your breakout sessions, a participant acts inappropriately, ask the Producer to remove them from the experience. In a breakout room: click on “Ask for Help,” one of your team will assist. Instructors and Co-Instructors can also request a reason as to why we are removing a learner. These reasons include: behaviour, violation of our Code of Conduct, improper tech requirements that we cannot troubleshoot etc. Please connect with the CSM in regards to questions about security.
